Inspired by the emblematic scarf ‘Tsoutsoumida’ of Corfu island, our new silk carré is the modern interpretation of the ornamentation that made this scarf a folk statement in itself. Traditionally depicting peacock’s feathers and floral arrangements, it was typically worn by young ladies as a headscarf or by married women around the waist whilst dancing.
