About the event:

On Thursday the 21st of March 2019, the first day of spring the presentation of the silk scarves of the Zografos House took place in the War Museum of Athens. Five scarves inspired by the five most emblematic Ancient Greek civilizations through jewelry and symbols that signify the character and the mightiness of each era and of the people that represent it.

The main part of the event involved the Zografos house creator Helena Zografou, who with the help of the mezzo soprano Eirini Karagianni accompanied by Dimitris Giakas piano narrated the silk scarves’ story through the themed music tour “Greek Myth and History in the Opera”

The event closed with the presentation of the scarf “Stavraetos” which is inspired by a piece of jewelry from the modern Greek history, the Macedonian male booted eagle that decorated the uniforms of the Macedonian soldiers.

The event was also embraced by the winery of the Girlemi family offering wine to the guests and the Fresh patisserie offering pastries inspired by the “Kleio” collection.
